Legal Basis for Processing
8det relies on the following legal bases when processing your personal data:
- Contractual Necessity: Processing required to perform the contract between you and 8det — including account registration, payment processing, and delivering the gaming services you have requested. Without this processing, 8det cannot provide its services to you.

- Consent: Processing based on your freely given, specific, and informed consent — principally for marketing communications and the use of non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Section 6
Sharing Your Personal Data
8det shares your personal data only in the circumstances described below. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for their own commercial or marketing purposes under any circumstances.
- Payment Processors: Your financial data is shared with licensed payment service providers — including JazzCash, EasyPaisa, HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank, and Raast — solely to process deposit and withdrawal transactions you have initiated. These providers are contractually obligated to handle your data securely and in accordance with applicable financial regulations.
- KYC & Identity Verification Providers: Your identity documents and personal details may be shared with licensed third-party KYC verification service providers engaged by 8det to fulfil its AML compliance obligations. These providers are bound by strict data processing agreements.
- Regulatory Authorities: 8det is required to report suspicious transactions and cooperate with investigations conducted by the issuing gaming licensing authority and any relevant financial intelligence units. Data shared in this context is strictly limited to what is legally required.
- Technology and Infrastructure Partners: Certain technical service providers who host or maintain elements of the 8det platform infrastructure may have incidental access to data. All such providers operate under data processing agreements that restrict their use of your data to the services they provide to 8det.
- Legal Proceedings: 8det may disclose your data in response to a valid court order, subpoena, or other legally enforceable demand from a competent authority.
No Cross-Border Marketing Sales: 8det will never transfer, sell, or license your personal data to any advertising network, data broker, or marketing platform for the purpose of targeting you with third-party advertising.
Section 7
Cookies & Tracking Technologies
The 8det platform uses cookies and similar technologies to deliver a functional, secure, and personalised experience. The following categories of cookies are used:
- Strictly Necessary Cookies: Essential for the platform to function. These cookies manage your login session, maintain your account security state, and remember your preferred language settings. They cannot be disabled without impairing core platform functionality.
- Performance & Analytics Cookies: Used to understand how players interact with the 8det platform — which pages are visited most often, where sessions begin and end, and which features are most used. Data collected by these cookies is aggregated and anonymised. We use this information to improve platform performance and content relevance.
- Functional Cookies: Allow the platform to remember preferences you have set, such as your chosen game lobby view, notification settings, and responsible gaming display preferences.
- Marketing Cookies: Used only where you have given explicit consent. These cookies help 8det understand which promotional campaigns led you to the platform, enabling us to measure the effectiveness of our marketing activities. They do not track you across unrelated third-party websites.
You can manage cookie preferences via your browser settings at any time. Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will impair your ability to log in and use core 8det platform features. For full details on how to manage cookies in your specific browser, refer to your browser's official help documentation.
Section 8
Data Security
8det implements a comprehensive set of technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, accidental loss, destruction, or disclosure. These measures include:
- TLS 1.3 Encryption: All data in transit between your device and 8det's servers is encrypted using Transport Layer Security version 1.3.
- AES-256 Encryption at Rest: Sensitive stored data, including identity documents and financial records, is encrypted at rest using AES-256.
- Password Hashing: Account passwords are never stored in plain text. 8det uses an industry-standard adaptive hashing algorithm with per-user salts.
- Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): 8det strongly encourages all players to enable 2FA on their accounts. This provides an additional layer of protection against unauthorised access even if your password is compromised.
- Access Controls: Internal access to player data is restricted on a strict need-to-know basis. Staff with data access undergo regular security training and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Intrusion Detection: 8det's infrastructure is monitored continuously for unusual access patterns, potential intrusions, and anomalous behaviour that may indicate a security incident.
Despite these measures, no digital system can guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that poses a risk to affected players, 8det will notify those players and the relevant regulatory authority within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Section 9
Data Retention
8det retains personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law and regulatory obligations. The following general retention periods apply:
- Account Data (Active Accounts): Retained for the duration of the account relationship plus a minimum post-closure period as required by AML regulations applicable to 8det's gaming license. This period is typically five (5) years from the date of account closure.
- KYC Documents: Identity verification documents are retained for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of last transaction, in accordance with international AML standards.
- Transaction Records: Deposit and withdrawal records are retained for a minimum of five (5) years for regulatory and audit purposes.
- Support Communications: Records of customer support interactions are retained for three (3) years to support dispute resolution.
- Marketing Data: Retained until you withdraw your marketing consent, at which point it is deleted within 30 days.
- Technical & Usage Data (Anonymised): Anonymised analytics data may be retained for longer periods as it no longer constitutes personal data once anonymised.
On expiry of the applicable retention period, personal data is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymised. You may request early deletion of your data subject to 8det's legal obligations — see Section 10 for your rights in this regard.
Section 10
Your Privacy Rights
As a user of the 8det platform, you hold the following rights with respect to your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact the 8det support team via live chat or at [email protected]:
- Right of Access: You have the right to request a copy of the personal data 8det holds about you, along with information about how it is processed. 8det will respond to access requests within 30 days.
- Right to Rectification: If any personal data held by 8det is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to request that it be corrected. Identity data corrections may require supporting documentation.
- Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): You may request deletion of your personal data where it is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected, where you withdraw consent, or where you successfully object to its processing. This right is subject to 8det's legal obligations to retain certain data under AML and gaming regulations.
- Right to Restriction: You may request that 8det restrict the processing of your data in certain circumstances — for example, while the accuracy of data is being contested.
- Right to Data Portability: Where processing is based on your consent or a contract, you may request that 8det provide your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Right to Object: You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling for direct marketing purposes. Objections to marketing will be acted upon immediately.
- Right to Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
Response Timeframe: 8det will acknowledge your rights request within 72 hours and aim to fulfil it within 30 calendar days. Complex requests may take up to 90 days, in which case you will be informed of the extension and the reason for it.
Section 11
Children's Privacy
The 8det platform is strictly intended for adults aged 21 years and above. 8det does not knowingly collect, solicit, or process personal data from any individual under the age of 21. CNIC-based age verification is applied to all accounts during the registration and KYC process to enforce this requirement.
If 8det becomes aware that personal data has been collected from an individual who is under 21 years of age — whether through a falsified CNIC or any other means — the account will be immediately and permanently closed, all funds will be returned to the verified payment source, and the personal data of the minor will be deleted from 8det's systems as promptly as technically possible.
If you are a parent or guardian and have reason to believe that a minor in your care has registered on the 8det platform, please contact us immediately at [email protected] so that we can take the appropriate action without delay.
Section 12
International Data Transfers
8det operates under an international gaming license and may process or store data on servers located in jurisdictions outside Pakistan. Where personal data is transferred internationally, 8det ensures that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data to a standard equivalent to that described in this Privacy Policy.
Safeguards used for international transfers include:
- Contractual data processing agreements with all third-party processors that incorporate standard data protection clauses.
- Transfers only to countries or organisations that have received an adequacy determination, or where equivalent safeguards can be demonstrated.
- End-to-end encryption for data transmitted across borders.
By creating an 8det account and using the platform, you acknowledge that your data may be processed in jurisdictions outside Pakistan as part of the standard operation of the platform and its supporting infrastructure.
Section 13
Marketing Communications
With your explicit consent, 8det may send you promotional communications about new games, bonuses, PSL cricket betting offers, seasonal promotions, and other 8det platform updates. Marketing communications are sent via SMS to your registered mobile number, email to your registered address, or via in-platform notifications.
You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by:
- Clicking the "unsubscribe" link included in any marketing email you receive from 8det.
- Updating your communication preferences within your 8det account settings.
- Contacting the 8det support team via live chat and requesting removal from marketing lists.
Opting out of marketing communications does not affect transactional communications — you will continue to receive account security alerts, deposit and withdrawal confirmations, KYC notifications, and other service-related messages that are necessary to the operation of your account.
Section 14
Third-Party Links
The 8det platform may contain links to third-party websites or services that are outside of 8det's control — for example, links to the websites of payment providers or game developers for informational purposes. This Privacy Policy applies exclusively to the 8det platform and does not govern the data practices of any third-party site you may visit via such links.
8det strongly recommends that you review the privacy policy of any third-party website you visit before providing personal information to that site. 8det accepts no responsibility or liability for the privacy practices or content of third-party sites.
Section 15
Changes to This Privacy Policy
8det reserves the right to update or revise this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our data processing practices, applicable law, or regulatory requirements. When material changes are made, 8det will notify registered players via email or an in-platform notification at least 7 days before the revised policy takes effect.
The most current version of this Privacy Policy is always accessible at https://8det.vip/privacy-policy. The "Last Updated" date shown at the top of this page indicates when the most recent revision was published. Your continued use of the 8det platform after a revised Privacy Policy takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
If you disagree with any change to this Privacy Policy, you must stop using the 8det platform and may request account closure by contacting the support team. Your data will be handled in accordance with the version of this policy in effect at the time of your request.
Section 16

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, wish to exercise your data rights, or want to raise a concern about how 8det has handled your personal data, please contact us through the following channels:
- Live Chat: Available 24/7 directly on the 8det platform. This is the fastest way to reach a member of our team for any privacy-related query.

If you are not satisfied with how 8det has responded to your privacy concern, you have the right to escalate your complaint to the data protection supervisory authority relevant to 8det's gaming license jurisdiction, or to seek independent legal advice. Details of the relevant authority are available from the 8det support team on request.
Formal Requests: When submitting a formal data rights request by email, please include your full name, registered email address, and CNIC last four digits (for identity verification purposes only) so that we can locate your account and process your request efficiently. Do not include your full CNIC number in an email communication.
